The Best Book I Never Read

btt button

We’ve all seen the lists, we’ve all thought,”I should really read that someday,” but for all of us, there are still books on The List that we haven’t actually gotten around to reading. Even though we know they’re fabulous. Even though we know that we’ll like them. Or that we’ll learn from them. Or just that they’re supposed to be worthy. We just haven’t gotten around to them yet.

What’s the best book that YOU haven’t read yet?

I’ve got some doozies, for as well-read as I am:

Crime and Punishment
100 Years of Solitude and Love in the Time of Cholera
Wuthering Heights
Rabbit, Run

  1. Those are all great choices. I finally got around to reading “Love in the Time of Cholera” last year and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I’ve got “Rabbit, Run” on my list for this year – my husband has been recommending it for a long time now.

  2. “A Tale of Two Cities” had been on my list until recently (I hope an audiobook counts! It was unabridged).

I have never read any of Shakespeare’s histories, and I feel like I oughta. In fact, I don’t think I’ve read “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” even!

  3. I LOVED Wuthering Heights! This book was absolutely one of the most amazing pieces of literature that I have ever got my hands on. Automatically move this one to the top of your list!
