In full disclosure, Brian is a former student of mine, and someone of whom I’m very proud. This slim volume is a candid confession of struggle, doubt, fear, and weakness, and stands as a powerful testament to life and resilience. While Brian has dealt with a lot in his life, he’s working hard to make sense of the world, and keep his faith in the face of tragedy. My hat is off to him for putting his story out there into the world.
