Review:
I was about 2/3 of the way through Contaminated before I realized that I was only going to get setup for the bigger story. I have no problem with stories that take place over multiple volumes, but I have a minimal expectation that each book will tell a complete story, and this one just didn’t. I was really enjoying the world and the characters and the vibe, so my sense of letdown was pretty big. I don’t really feel like it was the author’s fault, I felt like it may have been rushed to publication or split into multiple volumes for marketing purposes. Too bad, because the writing is pretty good.
