Odd Mom Out by Jane Porter

Synopsis:
Marta Zinsser and her daughter Eva are finding it hard to make friends in their snooty Washington State neighborhood, especially because none of the other moms seem to understand the pressures Marta faces as a single working mother.

Review:
I picked up this galley at Book Expo–the book comes out on September 27th, and I definitely recommend picking it up if you want to read a well-written story about the “mommy wars.” I don’t generally go for these kinds of books but this one really got me involved.

  1. Hey, thanks! 🙂

I think you’re the first one who has actually reviewed this book for the public and I’m so grateful you did, and even more grateful you liked the story. I get so nervous before a new book comes out so thanks thanks thanks.
