Updated: Thanks to everyone who helped. The site seems to be working fine.
Apparently the scripts I’m running on the far right are breaking my site in IE. Because I have a new Mac, I can’t check this out for myself. I’m told that when I remove the scripts the site works fine in IE.
I can tell from looking at the stats that people like the Librarything, BookMooch, and Google Reader features, so I don’t want to get rid of them. But I don’t want my site to look ugly, either.

I have IE. The only thing that looks out of whack to me is your Library Thing search box–it runs off the page. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it, though, if I hadn’t been looking for errors.

I hope I didn’t cause too much stress! I’m not sure what you did (if anything), but those black lines that ran across the page are gone. In fact the whole site looks perfect right now.
