I liked A Judgment in Stone, but I’ve lost my copy! I never noticed until Iwas searching the house fo another lost book and didn’t find either.

I didn’t care for the movie version–thought it moved too slow & didn’t have all of the nuance of the book.

Eva–oh, yeah, it’s definitely stayed with me.

I’m so glad that The Ghost Writer made your list! I love The Namesake, East of Eden, and Anna Karenina as well. I got the new translation of W&P for Christmas, and I plan on reading KL this year as well. Now, I have to go read your review of Twisted to see what that’s about!

I’m wondering whether you’re planning on seeing ‘The Namesake’ movie…
Personally, I don’t tend to like film adaptations (‘Bridget Jones’ Diary’ being a notable exception, I actually liked the movie more than the book. lol).

I did not like Namesake. I found it snobbish at some points.

Steinbeck is one of my Favourites too. I read East of Eden last year!

My list!
