I’ve written a book called ‘Ionshaker’ and adapted it into screenplay. The logline is: Two men are framed when a sophisticated nuclear software is stolen, people who know the truth start dying and the president sends the two to steal it back. Can I send you the synopsis for your critique?

It’s good to know you are a fan of Madelyn Le’Engle Franklin (A Wrinkle In Time). She was a friend and teacher of mine, but that, of itself won’t get me published (there…I said it!) I wrote a book in 1985 that she helped edit for me…It went through the slings and arrows…Hollywood scooped it up…made a movie…the end result was…I got left out of the equation…to put it mildly. The book is entitled The Adversary…by C. David Priest (I’m a retired Episcopal Priest …African American. I know the book is good…she said it was. What can I do!

I felt so awful when I realized I left the Bible off my list. Oh, no! No way could I live without my Bible! Glad you loved Rebecca, too. I like Writing Down the Bones; it’s been forever since I read that one. And, darn it, I see some other titles I’m going to have to look up. Like I need more ideas. I think I may have forgotten A Wrinkle in Time, also. Duh, childhood favorite, read a squillion times!
